I listen to Dave Ramsey’s talk show nearly every day when I’m picking up my kids from school, and have often wanted to go to Financial Peace University when I hear the callers’ life changing experiences. I’m excited to attend a class this fall!
Zions Bank has partnered with nationally acclaimed financial advisor and radio personality Dave Ramsey to bring Zions Bank to at least 28 locations along the Wasatch front, so now is the PERFECT time to make that change you’ve been wanting to make and get the education you need to get out of debt FOR GOOD. The nine-week course features weekly lessons that help individuals eliminate debt, save for the future, create positive cash flow and build wealth. Topics also include the role of insurance, retirement and college planning, real estate and mortgages. Since 2003, Zions Bank has supported Financial Peace University classes with more than 55,000 participants from Utah and Idaho. After participating in the program, the average household reports paying off $5,300 in debt and adding $2,700 in savings within three months.
Tuition for the full course is $105 per household, including children 19 and younger, and provides a lifetime membership to repeat the course in the future. Participants also receive a comprehensive workbook, an envelope system for organizing cash, an audio CD set of all the lessons and access to additional online lessons and tools. The first lesson, called “Super Saving,” is free to those who want to learn more before continuing the full course.
We’re excited to be partnering with Zions Bank in this endeavor, and for the opportunity we had to give away a Financial Peace University class to a Utah Sweet Savings reader! If you didn’t win and live in Cache Valley, the Cache Valley Volunteer Center has scholarships available. To find out more, contact them at (435) 554-8270.
