We have attended some fun events this winter and of course one of our favorites has been the Ice Castles in Midway Utah. As we’ve been sharing all season long on this site and in our Facebook Group, The Ice Castles are THE Place to visit in the winter months in Utah!
Last year we visited the Ice Castles at night in the dark, and while it was beautiful at night, it was TONS of fun to see it in the day this year.
The height of the Ice Castles was something! We were so impressed. My girls had so much fun running and crawling through the tunnels.
I was in awe by everything. The colors, the formations, the slides, the music, and it was a beautiful day. I could have stayed forever.
When you visit The Ice Castles, be sure to dress warm. Even though it was a beautiful day it was cold. And it got much colder as it got darker. Warm boots, warm gloves, a hat, scarves, and snow pants for the kiddos really helped. We were all very comfortable.
Of course we had to take an ice castle selfie too.
I can’t recommend the Ice Castles enough! We plan on going every year from here on out. What a fun family tradition.
