Recently I had the chance to check out Topgolf in Salt Lake City (Midvale) and I had a BLAST!! To be honest, I wasn’t sure if it really was “for me.” While I used to enjoy going and hitting a bucket of balls with my dad at the driving range, I had the feeling that Topgolf was for serious golfers and I felt a little silly walking in.
I couldn’t have been more wrong! Topgolf is for all ages and all skill levels. The best way I can describe it is like bowling. Sure there are people who are awesome at golf and Topgolf is a wonderful place for them to practice YEAR ROUND and hone their skills. But it is also an awesome venue for a family fun night or date night. It’s just FUN!!!
At first, I went with my friends, but we had SO MUCH FUN that I knew I needed to take my family! So we went back a few weeks later and we all had so much fun! In fact, we for sure will be going back at least a few more times before summer is over! I really wish I lived closer so I could take advantage of their Summer FUN PASS for my family! Worried about the heat in the summer? Don’t be! We were totally comfortable even on a REALLY hot day in July! They have fans and shade and it’s really quite comfortable. It’s the BEST way to golf in the summer for sure. Plus, I’ve been told that it’s really nice in the winter too with heaters as well.
While you can’t use the Summer Fun Pass at night, Topgolf is for sure worth checking out at night too! It was so much fun with friends. CRAZY GOOD food, music, lights, and just so much fun!
