A few months ago my dad came for a visit and we started talking about health and dental insurance. We have moved over state lines several times in the recent years and always have to figure out something new when we do. Dental insurance seems to be something I’ve noticed a lot of people put on the back burner because you can kind of ignore it … for a while. Then you head into the dentist after a 3 year break and you are broke! My dad has worked in insurance for years and this plan is my favorite he has found … (sadly for us we live just across the state line and can’t get it at the price listed below…) but I just wanted to share it with our readers in hopes this will save someone some $$$.

Covers exams for routine oral, periodontal, x-rays, cleanings, topical fluoride treatment, and sealants!
There is also no waiting for Major items like Crowns, implants, appliances for children. On Major, the insured receives an average discount of 28% by seeing in-network dentists!
Basic services are covered at 50% after a $50 per person deducible (Max $150 for family). Services include Emergency care for pain relief, Extractions and root removal, fillings, space maintainers, Oral surgery, etc.
All this for only $14 per month per person! Family rate is $49.97!!!
