A cruise is a wonderful way to experience more than one vacation on a single trip, and you’ll be so pampered. I sailed on the Symphony of the Seas a couple of summers ago and it was incredibly relaxing, but there was SO much to do on board the ship, plus we enjoyed SO much ice cream! We went with extended family and it was the perfect option for a family reunion, so everyone could do whatever they enjoy doing, and we’d still enjoy some time together each day, playing trivia, swimming, or having dinner. Here are a few photos from our trip (man, I was really blonde, haha)!

The Boardwalk on Deck 6 had a lot of fun activities for kids, including a carousel. The younger cousins loved it.
Formal night is always fun! But honestly, you don’t HAVE to dress up. We enjoyed it, though.

SO MUCH soft serve ice cream. We’d get it any time we were in the pool area on Deck 11.
Our trip included a Perfect Day at Coco Cay. We only did the included beach and pool; we didn’t pay for the water park or extras, and it was perfect. Snorkeling is a must!
These are just a few of the activities available. We also sang karaoke, tried pretty much all the included food options, ran around the track while the ship was moving, played at the arcade, and we highly recommend watching the entertainment. Hairspray, Flight: Dare to Dream, and HiRo were showing on our cruise and they were outstanding.
It was so much fun, and there’s even more to do on their new Icon of the Seas ship! There are so many different itineraries for all their ships, you’re sure to find a dream location and the perfect length for your family’s next adventure.
