New Subway BBQ Collection! *My Blindfold Taste Test!*

I week or so ago I had a new and fun experience. I got the chance to be on a “blogger panel” in Salt Lake and participate in a Blind Taste Test! That’s right! I got to eat food on a stage in front of a bunch of people blindfolded. Ha! It was a blast!

We had the chance to test out a new line of Subway BBQ Sandwiches. At the time we didn’t know what we were taste testing, just that it was a new line from a national restaurant. I have to say it was really fun and very different. If you have ever tried to eat blindfolded it is a very different experience. But I loved it and it gave me a great chance to try out these delicious sandwiches.

• The BBQ Collection includes the new Applewood Pulled Pork, Carved Turkey and Rotisserie Style Chicken. All meats included in the new collection were raised without antibiotics.

Here is a video of our blind taste test. As you will see, we don’t get everything right. But it’s fun!

I will say, the first sandwich, the Applewood Pulled Pork had so much flavor that it really overpowered our second sandwich which was the Rotisserie Style Chicken. I can’t wait to go back to Subway and try that one again. I remember it had a flavor that I really liked, but still having the Applewood Pulled Pork flavor in my mouth really skewed my opinion a bit.
