Family Fun at Boondocks!

My husband and I recently celebrated our 13th wedding anniversary.  At our house we like to call it our “Family Birthday.”  It is the day that our family started.  Since then we have had our ups and downs but our family continues to draw closer and closer.  Because of this we love to celebrate our Family Birthday by doing something extra fun with the entire family.

This year we decided to head to Boondocks.

Have you been to Boondocks?  We have lived in Kaysville for 10 years and we had never been.  It turned out to be the perfect place for a family day out.

Boondocks has three locations.  Draper UT, Kaysville UT, and Northglenn CO.  We went to the Kaysville location but the giveaway we have (see below) is for either the Draper or Kaysville location.

We grabbed the Unlimited Fun Passes.  I really think this is the way to go.  We made an entire day out of it and since there is SO MUCH to do, no one ever complained about being bored or not getting to do what they wanted to do.  Everyone can do their favorites.  If you have older kids you can even split up into groups.  I think it would be an amazing date night as well.

We started outside on the slick tracks before it got too hot.  My girls were so excited that they were tall enough to ride along.  They loved it and wanted to go faster and faster.  We came back to do this multiple times because it was so much fun.

Next it was over to the Bumper Boats.  Those are perfect on a hot day because you get to shoot people with water.  My husband claims to be a hunter but I hardly got wet at all, and we soaked him!  My girls were totally loving it!

Next it was Miniature Golf.    This was our families first time playing mini golf.  My little 4 year old loved it.  She was great too and really worked on her form.  The course was a really quite fun and at the end the tiki guy shoots fire out the top when you hit the ball in.  What a blast.

By this point it was time to come in out of the heat so we decided to have some delicious lunch.  They have tons of options and I will thrilled that they even had some relatively healthy choices.

After lunch came arcade games and bowling!

As if this wasn’t a full enough day we had one more round of minigolf and some more rides on the slick track.

We had such a blast and can’t wait to go back.  We didn’t even do everything, if you can believe that.  They still have Laser Tag, Rollerball, Kiddie Cove, and the Batting Cages.  There is just So much fun here!  I can’t recommend it enough.
