Have you missed our doTerra essential oil giveaways?  It has been a month or so since we have had one.  I’ve known about this one for a while and I have had a hard time waiting to share it with you.

Have you tried DigestZen Essential Oil yet?  As you know, I have been using essential oils for years.  But I have never tried DigestZen.  I have alway just used peppermint for any tummy related issues and it usually works great, so I figured, why bother.  Well, Rebecca over at My Natural Family knows what a great oil DigestZen is so she told me I had to try it.

Yep!  She was right!  I am so glad she had me try it.  Here is why.

Because of my weight loss and changing my eating habits my stomach is very sensitive to higher fat foods and sugars.  I try to avoid them as much as possible but we have been on vacation quite a bit in the last 2 months and you can’t always eat perfectly on vacation.  I decided to take the DigestZen with me and try it out.  I put a few drops in my water before I ate and it REALLY helped.  I was quite surprised.  Plus, it tastes GOOD!  It is strong, but I like it.  Although, I should note that I enjoy the taste of most essential oils and I have been taking them for a while.  So you should start slow.  You might want to even put it in a capsule.  These are the ones that I use: Now Foods, Vcaps ’00’.

I have also used it on my husband and my kiddos when they say their tummy hurts.  Ok, my hubby doesn’t usually use the word tummy {but sometimes he does when he is whiny 😉 }.  It works great to just put a drop or two on your tummy and rub it in.  I have been thrilled with the results.
