I absolutely LOVE this park! We took our kids through This Is The Place Heritage Park over Spring Break and had so much fun in the live petting zoo. We only spent about 4 hours there and we totally could have spent double the time if we had planned well enough to get there early in the day. The girls got to use old fashioned plows and practiced their farming skills, we rode the train around (several times), hit the little bakery, rode some ponies and helped turn rabbit fur into yarn. It was an absolute blast! (We missed out on panning for gold and the Native American village) If you have been wanting to go – this is the deal for you!
This Friday, June 8th, admission is FREE!!! While you’re there you can also enjoy some FREE ice cream. Parking is free, but I’m guessing this will be a busy day, so plan for a little walk up the hill. Free admission is from 10 am to 5 pm.
Thanks for the heads up Savvy Sister!
