I am already running a race on August 11 so I can’t sign up for the Cahoots Duo Challenge in Soldier Hollow, but man it looks FUN! And Groupon has made it even better by offering it for $69 (regularly $160).
On Saturday, August 11, starting between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m., pairs of competitors hit Cahoots’s volunteer-staffed 5- to 6-mile obstacle course. Teammates glide down parallel ziplines, shooting off the ramp of a 150′ slip and slide, and invent bridges to cross ravines. Organizers hand out prizes throughout the day for teamwork, best costumes, and demonstrations of camaraderie. At the end of the race, each participant earns half of a medallion, a Cahoots car sticker and T-shirt, and access to the after party.
