I just have to share this quote from Katherine that is on the back of her Album:
“Women of the world…. The odds are stacked against us. There is an adversary who knows all too well that the annihilation of the spirits of the Daughters of God will destroy the families, communities and even nations. Women have been born with the ability to reach inside for the instinct of survival, both physical and spiritual. Whether being passed down in our hearts by the countless women and mothers who came before us, or born out of our darkest hours of struggle. THERE IS A DEEP WELL OF STRENGTH THAT LIES WITHIN US that fuels our capacity to exercise courage, to face the unfaceable, and to rise above EVERY circumstance. We carry the banner of faith, love, perseverance, and HOPE to all those within our circles of outreach in life.
I truly believe that WHEN WE STRENGTHEN WOMEN, WE STRENGTHEN THE WORLD. WE ARE ALL BORN BRAVE!
~Katherine Nelson
Good luck! I hope you win this wonderful album.
Hmm I’m going to have to go with training for an upcoming half marathon. I used to be a big time runner, but since having my little man I’ve had to really convince myself that I AM capable of running like I used to, and it OK to take the time for myself.
My brave moment this week is finally checking the suspicious pain with aCT!
I am being brave today by hosting my very vocal Mom and sister for the weekend in a far from spotless house. 🙂
I am trying to start working again. My youngest is 4 years old and I have been a stay-at-home mom for 9 years. I worked before that and I would like to again. I’m being brave because I’m not sure how it will work in y house with me being gone.
Mine is trying to quit smoking!
My most recent bravest moment was leaving my family and country again to come back here and support my husband in medical school, not that I don’t love the USA but some people who are from an other countries or that have their families far far away will understand, anyway that is my brave moment.
going through a difficult miscarriage
Having to pick up and move without knowing exactly where we are going and what we will do once we get there……
I stopped working and I am learning to be a stay at home momma.
Thriving after divorce.
I am learning to be a stay at home mom. And the thought of another C-section when I have my next child is a scary thought.
I’ve been going to the gym 4x per week… beast!!!!
I am choosing to focus on the positive of a situation we didn’t choose.
I choose to do what’s right, even when it is not easy, and not popular.
