Today I am taking a moment away from my normal deal posting to share something that is SO important to me!
I want to introduce you to a dear friend of mine. Meet Kari.
Kari is a blogger. She blogs over at Newlyweds on a Budget. She is a very talented and fun girl. I love her. Kari has a crazy story to tell. Six months ago while out jogging Kari was hit by a drunk driver, and left for dead. I tear up just thinking about it. You can read all about it HERE.
She didn’t die that day. She was “lucky.” But it has changed her forever.
Because of what she has gone through, Kari started B.A.D.D. Bloggers against Drunk Driving. Something that I am thrilled to be a part of. No one should EVER have to go through what my dear friend has (and continues) to go through.
PLEASE!! If you choose to drink, do NOT drive! It is not worth it! You have the choice. You have the choice to make a difference. Get a hotel room for the night, call a cab, have a designated driver, do WHATEVER you can. But do NOT get behind the wheel. Make the choice now!
