Time to Conquer! Week 36: Clothes Shopping! (Plus a Surprise Giveaway)

It’s time for me to report on my weight loss this week.  If you have been following my Time To Conquer Journey, you know that I have lost a lot of weight.

In fact, this week I lost another 2 pounds, making my grand total 94 pounds!!!  Every week I get closer to that 100 pound mark.  It is so exciting and crazy all at the same time.

One of the things that has been so fascinating about my weight loss is how much I now enjoy shopping.  I still have my moments of frustration (who doesn’t) but for the most part it has been so much fun to get out and find CUTE clothes that fit me.  Let’s be honest, when you are a big girl it is HARD to find cute clothes.

Because I am going to some fun blogging events in the next few weeks (and months), I’ve really wanted to find some cute clothes to wear.  Isn’t it fun to get dressed up once and a while?  Now, as you know, I am cheap.  BUT, one of the reasons that I am a frugal shopper is so I can splurge on myself once and a while.  I will still look for a great deal, but sometimes it is fun to just find a super cute outfit that makes you feel like a hundred bucks!

I’ve been looking for that outfit for a while.  Searching all of the regular stores for something that will show off my new, little(ish) body.  I just couldn’t find what I was looking for.  Until I found Valshi Boutique.  I discovered Valshi on Facebook (isn’t Facebook awesome!).  And learned they had local stores in Lehi and Orem.  What really drew me to their stores is that they carry PLUS size!  WHAT?  A boutique that carries plus size?!  I HAD to check them out.  I mean, I may have lost almost 100 pounds, but I still don’t fit into most boutique store clothing.  I love boutique clothes, but they are SO SMALL!  I didn’t think there was Anyway I would EVER fit into something from a boutique.  Turns out I should have been shopping at Valshi.  They carry clothes all the way up to 3X!  WOW!

Oh my goodness ladies!  I love their store!  I had So Much Fun!  Check it out!

You would too!  Trust me.  You should see all the fun clothes and accessories!  I was like a kid in a candy store.

I found my outfit!  This picture was taken about a month ago, and it fits and looks even better now!  It is so much fun to have something that I feel awesome and thin in.

They even had Mint Skinnies!  Which of course I want, but I don’t fit into yet.  Boo!  So now I have a new goal.  To get myself into these skinnies!  Hang on to them Valshi, I am going to get into them!  Just you wait….
