Have you noticed gas prices going up? How can you miss it?!! I’m always looking for ways to save money and saving money at the pump is at the top of my list. So when I headed out for my Epic RV Blogger Tour, I wanted to make sure and find the BEST way to save the most money on gas. Driving an RV was a BLAST! But the gas on those things really add up. Especially when we were traveling over 2,000 miles! WOW!
I did a little research on gas station options in the states we were traveling and I ran across Murphy USA. After experiencing Murphy USA, I am super bummed that they don’t have them in Utah.
The first thing I did was download the Murphy USA App!
The Murphy USA Cheap Gas Finder was awesome! It helped me find the closest local gas and compare all the gas prices. This includes Murphy USA and the competitors gas prices.
With how much gas we were using, this Free app saved me SO MUCH MONEY!!! Just check out the CRAZY deal that I found using their app.
I was driving through Iowa and there was a Crazy good deal in Cedar Rapids! Not only was Murphy USA the lowest price in town, but it was at a Walmart. They offered an extra discount if you used a Walmart card. So I was able to score gas for $3.19 a gallon! Had I chosen to fill up at the first station I saw, I would have paid $3.52/gal. Paying $3.19/gal instead saved me over $15.00 just in one stop! Brilliant!
If you are lucky enough to live near a Murphys USA make sure and download their app. Plus, follow them on Facebook and Twitter. They LOVE discounts! They will send you Free eOffers right to your email. Plus look for their in store deals!
And if you live in Utah, let’s bug them about getting locations in Utah. I just sent them a Tweet. Feel free to re-Tweet it HERE.
I’m definitely going to be downloading that app for the next time we go out of town. But I think that they should start opening some up in Utah too!!!
